The board of choice for gold medalist, Torah Bright, the Roxy Women's Torah Bright XC2-BTX Snowboard excels at boosting from 20-foot pipe walls, carving steeps with precision, and launching off natural drops into deep powder. This super-light, insanely snappy board features XC2-BTX for an aggressive, all-terrain freestyle ride that's equally confident charging expert-only terrain and intimidating, pro-sized parks. The tight, short-radius rocker between the bindings maximizes float in deep snow, also providing catch-free fun when you're jibbing, buttering, and playing around the park. Countering the board's playful rocker, aggressive camber starts just before the binding inserts, extending from underfoot to the tip and tail kicks for spring-loaded pop and high levels of response as you fly down the mountain. Ultimately, this makes for a freestyle board that's highly versatile and well-suited for hard-charging riders who sample everything on the mountain. As always, Roxy's serrated Magne-Traction edges bite aggressively into icy pipe walls and hardpack to prevent you from slipping out. Inside this all-terrain freestyle master, the Light Hearted core is comprised of ultra-lightweight wood for a lively feel with plenty of snap. New Silky Smooth fibers use renewable organic material for a super-damp feel and improved elasticity over traditional fiberglass. There is still fiberglass in the board, with the triax fiberglass enhancing torsional stability and response for riding at high speeds and boosting from the biggest jumps. Moreover, Vectran fibers reinforce the board even more, absorbing high-speed chatter. Rounding things out, Roxy uses a Sintered 9900 base that readily absorbs wax for the fastest possible glide across widely variable snow conditions.
