Forest Bailey likes to leave the streets and seek solitude in the trees from time to time, but that doesn't mean he stops doing tricks when he's riding pow. That's why he worked with Gnu to make his signature Space Out DC2 BTX Snowboard a playful, yet powerful board capable of handling side hits, backcountry booters, and technical lines with equal prowess. It all starts with the DC2 BTX profile, which features rocker between the bindings to give it a forgiving feel and help it float in powder, along with rocker out to the contact points for powerful turns, pop off jumps, and superior edge hold. The Space Out also features a directional shape with a set-back stance and a slightly tapered tail to help you keep the nose up in the deepest snow and improve control on steep, technical slopes. Of course, it can still be ridden switch, so Forest can butter through powder and send backside 540s into the deep stuff. Magne-Traction edges are serrated to slice through ice like a knife through cheese, giving you insane grip on boilerplate runs. The Light core features aspen in the middle for strength, with Golden Poplar running down the sides to add lightweight pop.
